Virginia Women and Family Support Center Programs
Virginia Women and Family Support Center stands as a foundation of hope, offering holistic support across four vital pillars: housing, maternal health, homelessness, and child development. Our housing program provides the essential foundation of stability, creating safe spaces where families can rebuild their lives and thrive. Through our maternal health program, we ensure expecting and new mothers receive comprehensive care, from prenatal services to postpartum support, because healthy mothers are key to healthy families. In response to the growing crisis of homelessness, where over 653,000 Americans - including more than 111,000 children - faced housing insecurity in 2023, we provide immediate intervention and long-term solutions through case management, job training, and support services. Our child development programs address the unique challenges faced by children experiencing housing instability, offering specialized care and support that helps mitigate the physical and emotional impacts of homelessness while fostering healthy development. Together, these four interconnected programs create a holistic support system that not only addresses immediate needs but empowers women and their families to build stable, independent futures filled with possibility.
