Homelessness
Homelessness in the United States has reached a critical point, with 653,104 people experiencing homelessness in 2023 - a record high that represents a 12% increase from the previous year. Even more devastating is that 111,620 of these individuals were children. Women and families face unique challenges when experiencing homelessness, including heightened vulnerability to violence, difficulty maintaining children's education, and obstacles in accessing healthcare and employment while managing childcare. We're committed to breaking this cycle by providing comprehensive support that addresses both immediate needs and long-term stability. Our mission focuses on creating pathways to permanent housing while offering essential services like case management, childcare assistance, job training, and mental health support. By taking a holistic approach that considers the interconnected challenges facing women and their children, we work to not just provide temporary solutions, but to empower families to build sustainable, independent futures. Every child deserves a stable home, and every woman deserves the opportunity to provide that security for their family.
