Support changes everything.

Pregnancy should be a time of joy and hope, yet for many facing poverty, addiction, or abuse, it presents additional challenges and complexities.

Since 2016, the Virginia Women and Family Center has been a steadfast refuge for women and families in need. Through your generous support, we've been able to assist 78 women and 55 families in the past year alone, offering them solace and guidance during their most vulnerable moments.

Our mission is clear: to empower at-risk women and families, equipping them with the resources and encouragement needed to flourish. By addressing their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs, we break the cycle of adversity and sow seeds of hope for future generations.

Join us in creating meaningful change. Your support not only transforms lives but also strengthens the fabric of our community. Explore the various ways you can get involved below.

Join Our Expansion Project:
Help Us House More Families

This year, we're embarking on an ambitious mission to expand our reach and impact through our Expansion Project. Our goal is to raise $250,000 to acquire two new spaces, enabling us to provide sanctuary for 11 additional families at a time.

By joining forces with us, you become a vital part of our journey to create more safe havens for women and families in need. With your support, we can turn aspirations into reality, transforming these spaces into nurturing environments where families can rebuild their lives and envision brighter futures.

Every contribution counts, bringing us one step closer to our goal of fostering resilience and empowerment within our community. Together, we can make a lasting difference in the lives of those we serve.

Join us in our Expansion Project and be a catalyst for change.

Cycle Breakers

Cycle Breakers is our monthly membership program, where 100% of your support goes beyond housing. With Cycle Breakers, you're not just providing shelter; you're investing in the holistic empowerment of women and their families.

Through our program, we empower women by offering not only housing but also the opportunity to pursue higher education, heal from trauma, and access classes in parenting, maternal health, and birthing, and more. This comprehensive support system equips women with essential knowledge and skills, enabling them to thrive as mothers and fostering a brighter future for themselves and their children.

By becoming a Cycle Breaker, you're breaking the cycle of homelessness and empowering women and their families to create lasting positive change in their lives.

The Giving Keys

At Virginia Women & Family Support Center, our mission remains steadfast: to end homelessness among women and their families. If your organization shares our commitment to providing shelter, hope, and a brighter future to those in need, we invite you to join 'The Giving Keys', our annual sponsorship program. Your generous support will enable us to expand our housing initiatives, reaching even more mothers and their little ones with the safety and support they desperately need.

Through your generous sponsorship, you can enjoy prominent visibility at all Virginia Women & Family Support Center events throughout the year, on our website, social media, and newsletters. Your brand will be showcased on our website's front screen rotation and website footer, ensuring maximum visibility to our online audience. Monthly promotion will further amplify your commitment to our cause. Exclusive networking events will provide opportunities to connect with like-minded individuals and organizations. Additionally, we extend an invitation for a private tour of our facility, allowing you to witness firsthand the impact of your support.

By participating in 'The Giving Keys', you will not only make a significant difference in the lives of the women and families we serve but also contribute to building a stronger and more compassionate community. To learn more, contact Frances Robin at director@vawfsc.org
