Jazz on the Lawn – Celebrating 10 Years of Impact
For ten years, Virginia Women and Family Support Center (VAWFSC) has stood at the intersection of housing, maternal health, trauma, and homelessness, meeting women and children in their most vulnerable moments with compassion, stability, and a path forward. What began as a response to urgent need has grown into a movement of hope, healing, and lasting transformation.

On October 3rd, 2026, we will gather for a truly special evening, our 10 Year Anniversary celebration at Jazz on the Lawn. This milestone honors how far we have come, the thousands of lives changed along the way, and the many more we are committed to serving in the years ahead.
​
In 2025 alone, VAWFSC supported 624 women and 831 children with housing, resources, diapers, wipes, and clothing, including more than 13,000 diapers distributed free of charge. These numbers reflect more than services. They represent safety, dignity, and the opportunity for a new beginning.

This year’s Jazz on the Lawn is a celebration of a decade of impact, a reflection of a community that has come together to stand in the gap, and a moment to honor the resilience, courage, and hope of the women and children we serve.
